What is the main advantage of the MediPendant versus other products?

The MediPendant allows you to talk and listen directly through the MediPendant. There is no need to be near the base station like other medical alert products.

How much does it cost?

There are no hardware costs for leasing the MediPendant from us. Monitoring costs as little as $1/day. See our purchase lease option for more info.

Is there a way to try the MediPendant at no risk?

Yes! The lease option includes a 30 money back guarantee. Just contact us within 30 days and let us know you want to return the product and we will refund your 1st month of monitoring as soon as we receive the MediPendant from you. (MediPendant plus all included accessories/paperwork and  must be returned in original box and in same condition)

Is the MediPendant difficult to install?

Not at all. Just plug in the power supply and connect to the phone line and you are ready to go. See our How it Works page for more info.

Will my phone bill increase using the MediPendant?

No. The MediPendant comes preconfigured to dial a toll-free number to the 24/7 call center.

Do I have to sign a long term contract to use the MediPendant?

Absolutely Not! In fact there is no contract at all. We bill you month to month and you can cancel at anytime.

Who answers the call when the MediPendant Button is pressed?

An emergency response call center operator will answer and assist you. All of the operators are EMT certified and trained to provide on-call medical assistance.

What happens if I am unable to speak?

When the button is pressed, the operator will come on the line when connected. If the operator cannot hear you, help will be dispatched immediately.
