Simple planning saves time, frustration and possibly your life. Getting a MediPendant is a smart choice for unexpected emergencies but that is only part of the solution. You still need a way for responders to get into your home even if you cannot get to the door to unlock it.
Having a secure lock box in place outside your home is a great solution.
These combination lock boxes are easy to configure and can be locked to a non-removable object (i.e. metal railing, door handle, etc.) with your house key placed inside it. The combination for the lock is saved in the database at the Central Call Station and is disclosed to the responder (if needed) when you activate your MediPendant during an emergency.
This is a smart way to prevent property damage to your home if the police needed to use force entry and helps expedite their response time. It also prevents you from having to give out extra keys to neighbors or family members. The combination to the lock can be changed as needed but just be sure to inform the call center/dealer to update the database.
